My interest began when I took an introductory 3D course in 2000. I had no interest in 3D when I started the class, it was just a required part of the curriculum. By the end of the course I was convinced 3D animation is the coolest thing in the world (and still am).

The 3D software I currently use are trueSpace and Animation:Master. They are affordable, fully featured 3D packages.
